Just got back from puppy crate shopping.
Mine arrived in the mail today! 
All I can say is...Fired Up has seen LOTS of ornaments being meticulously painted for SoWal folks today...

Thank goodness for overnighting! Daughter was supposed to help me with my ornament project, but her final projects for her art classes took longer than expected. So I was on my own, with a lot of help from hubby and several friends. ;-)
Daughter had to do a series of paintings such that each stood up on its own. She did a series based on the Fibonacci numbers 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, .... Each unit corresponded to 6 inches of canvas with a Fibonacci number of objects. So 1 was represented by a 6x6 inch canvas with 1 object, 2 by a 12x12 canvas with two objects, ... , 5 by a 30x30 canvas with five objects. Then she arranged the canvases as in the attachment below. Then she did a full-sized violin in clay based on the Dali painting "Masochistic Instrument." Anyhow those two projects took so long that she ran out of time to help me. I understand.
I shipped mine on Friday the 12th UPS,I feel better now that it's on its way.
