Git yer strawberries, blackberries, and blueberries on sale now!:D

Can't give you an exact price, but just know that they are a LOT lower than the regular berry prices.

I need to come up with some chicken/berry combos.

I noticed the prices were lower on berries at Sams also. We bought jumbo containers of blackberries, raspberries and strawberries. YUMMY!! Wish they were this good price all the time...

I'm still confused by the prices at grocery stores. Gas prices more than doubled and grocery prices went up and container size decreased. In some cases, container size decreased by at least 25%, while price increased or remained the same as the larger package. Then, gas prices decreased by more than 50% fairly quickly, but the grocery prices for many things continues to tick up, and more package contents are getting further reduced.

Are grocery prices increasing because as the economy tightens, more people are cooking at home more often? Is the grocery store making more money, or, are the food manufactures making more money?

Eat more berries!

I am in love with Publix WaterColor. I love that I can pop in every single day, they have every single thing I may need, get in and out in a hurry (its not a huge store) and I know the folks who are so friendly and helpful. I really love the place and the people.

BUT, I do need to try to be more cognizant of sales. I shop almost daily for different things I need for meals, etc, so the timing of sales isn't very relevant to me usually. gotta change my strategy.

thanks jdarg!

You might want to check the origin of those berries. I believe it's just the end of the growing season in South America. I'm sticking with the time honored tradition that there is a berry season and unfortunately I'll have to wait for local berries.

Did JDarg get a side job as a Publix sale information disseminator? Kinda like a "lady on the street" endorser? Hmm..... First meats, then fruits. Are veggies and carbs next? How are the mac and cheese specials, or the suhweeet potatoes..

Got a part time job
