I am thankful to live here among people who are always working for positive change- it is inspiring, and really does help push aside all the bad news.

Kat is right- I too have good news everyday to share. So much time is spent fixating on the bad news, or what is perceived as bad news. I think we all have at least one bit of good news to share everyday! To me, just waking up is good news!

Great thread, Ms. Kitty. I've been about to bust with good news & want to tell someone. My son received a full scholarship to attend Loyola New Orleans in the fall. Mr JR has been exhaling sighs of relief all week long. whew!

In the spirit of Randomness...

The Citadel Chorale came and sang for my boys today, and they spent time with them in my class and during meals. One of my boys was even invited to sing with them in the concert.

This time of year it's easy for the boys to gaze glumly into their own navels (particularly when most of the state had a snow day and they were up at 0630 putting on their military clothes!) I enjoy seeing anything that perks them up, and the Citadel cadets were a bunch of boys who could not only inspire them but relate to the rigorous life they lead. It was a good day.

I'm getting a new cria soon! Here she is and I'm also getting her Momma. We are going to Shelbyville this weekend to the 8th annual alpaca show. Now, is this not grayt news?
