being knocked out when i had my tubes tied - it was my first surgery ever and it was a breeze !

Oh oh! I have another.

Back in '97 I had to have a little emergency abdominal surgery for a Meckel's diverticulum (Ask Skunky what it is or hit Wikipedia). I had to have a piece of small intestine removed. As a result I got an ileus for a short time which meant the Li'l SC wasn't working, either!

Now, I had always said that if somebody was ever going to have to catheterize me they would need to knock my arse out. Well, after a day of not being able to "go", I was begging for a catheter. My wish was their command (after a Dr's OK, of course), and all I could think was "Wow...that wasn't so bad after all!"

I had that same surgery in '03! How weird is that? (Didn't have to have the catheter--indoor plumbing.)
