So, first I had to go buy a new washer/dryer...then the fridge went kaput while I was in FL...bought one of those yesterday...now...one of my a/c units is not working and it's like 90 something outside and I am pucking HOT!

Called my trusty A/C guy and they will be here in 10 minutes.

Have I told y'all lately that this is a hailhole?

Did you get a Sub-Zero? Ours has been a constant repair problem. Hopefully you found another brand of cabinet-depth fridge and that I can plagiarize your discovery.

Mom's from Texas, as you know. Several of her friends have told her after visiting Texas in the summer that if they had a choice between hell and Texas, they'd choose hell. Personally, I love Texas. So does daughter. She has a "Don't Mess With Texas" license plate on the front of her car.

Kitty, we live in the Twilight Zone. OUR A/C's out too--upstairs--where I am. It IS pucking hot!! Mr. DD hasn't gotten around to calling the guy..he's still in the cussing stage.

No Sub-Zero for me! Hated the one in the last house. Went with a Jenn-Air...mostly because the others had fugly bowed out handles. I wanted straight handles. It should be here next week.
