The shrimp at Nick's in Basin Bayou is the BEST! So glad it is just 4 miles from the house. Just have to survive without them on Mondays.

Yes, Jambone has really good fried shrimp! I don't immediately think of it as a seafood place. Their shrimp is more of a tempura style than southern fried. The squid salad is nice also.
