What's your favorite app? I just got an iPod Touch today and want to know what apps are worth downloading.

I'm a map freak, so I like the Google maps which come on the iPhone already. I also downloaded Google Earth and Google.

I only got an account set up for apps last night, so I'm still working on it. I only loaded free stuff. I downloaded the Just Light app for when I am stumbling around backstage in the dark. I like Pandora, Yellow Pages, White Pages, some white noise apps, the Bible, and iHandy Level (I'm remodeling!)

I would like to get rid of the following that seem useless: guitar tuner (it doesn't seem to work) and sirius (you have to pay to subscribe.) If anyone will hijack this thread and tell me how to get rid of an app, I'd be grateful!

I use my IPOD touch for music mainly and checking mail while I am out, but I have City Transit, and that Level app like Noitall. I have used it on occasion. I downloaded games because I take it with me and I have my nephews alot. If I need to, I break out the Touch for them to play with. The graphics are amazing.
OK.... I play them on occasion, like in an airport.

Nanosaurus 2
Krash Kart
Enigmo (Brilliant Puzzle game with drops of water)
Parking Lot ( Another Brilliant Puzzle Game)
Worder (Free App)
Astrotilt (good for little kids)
Bejeweled

Itunes has lists of apps and user ratings. It also warns you of any glitches the app might have. Then you can decide whether you want to take the chance if you think you will use it frequently enough. Many of them are free and if they are not, the prices have come down significantly. Nanosaurus and Krash Kart were around $2.99 and have the graphics of a Playstation Game. A Bargain in my book.

Doesn't Google Earth use a lot of memory? :dunno:
