I love to live the BF experience through Mangy and anyone else willing to share it. as long as I NEVER have to live it personally, ever again. used to do it in Bham with Mom every year. the time to be at the stores kept getting earlier and earlier each year. geeze - what time is it these days? 1am?

I choose to sleep, and pay more for stuff later. or better yet, order it online at my leisure. I do love hearing about the madness though. Who else does BF?

Of course! I saw that tv commercial for Kmart. Don't think I will be running in for those 6.99 jeans or 3.99 throws, though.

I think we'll be seeing lots of bargains popping up this year. Maybe I will start a bargains thread and report my findings as we come closer to the Holidays. I'll also report the bat turd come ons. There are lots of online bargains also and I do take advantage of those, but we have lots of funn on Good Friday and it's a tradition.

I have been hearing that stores will be starting their "Black Friday" specials weeks early to improve their sales.

IMO the 4 am stampedes at chain stores bring out the worst of people and the holiday....................I'll be at a museum or shopping at a small mom & pop store.
