. I have been AWOL on SoWal some, mostly because of work. I can remember years (after I started posting) that I would wake up in the morning and get on, get home from work and get on! SoWal kept me sane for years. (and entertained!) I remember being jealous of what I missed during the day 
. I remember the excitement of count down for a visit, a soiree, a S/C/D party or an ornament exchange! 
He was too much funn!!! I will have to post something that he wrote recently ;-)

I was going to use this thread title on my standard time rant, but it seemed more fitting for what's been on my mind lately. SoWal.com.
I guess you could say you had me with the Penis Cake thread. From that moment in time when I stumbled upon this wonderful, wacky, informative, goofy, insane, infuriating, maddening, uplifting, creative, sometimes naughty, always intelligent place called SoWal.com, there was no turning back for me. I had found a new family, but I didn't know it at the time. I kept reading threads and I kept thinking, "I've GOT to meet these people!". And met you I did. A lot of you anyway. There were so many days when I couldn't wait to get online to see what the Funns were up to, what RO and Darlene were talking and arguing about, Landlock's evolving tar, the evolution of Sueshore, Darlene's Friday Funnies and Kurt's gorgeous photos.
But, it seems we've lost the funn somewhere along the line. I realize things change, and SoWal.com's no different. Maybe it's a slump, an evolution in itself, maybe a changing of the guard. All I know is that I don't rush home to check the Lounge any more. There are days I don't post and some days I don't read much. You all know I don't frequent the PCE forum and I know there are those who don't frequent the lounge...that's cool. But, I miss those old Lounge Lizards and all the funn we used to have. It makes me sad and it makes me wonder....
do those folks still lurk? Is LL still out there, did Skelly ever get a real job, is Kimmifunn still meeting celebs, will we ever have an ornament exchange again or is OL even still speaking to us, has SJ gone over to TripAdvisor, where is dbuck, will Miss Kitty ever post again, does Audie still love winter, is Mangy still Extreme Ironing, will we ever S/D/C again, will I--before I die-have an animated tar again? Why did we stop using the term bat turd and will we ever have another thread that was as funn as the PC thread?
