Right here!
Just caught his fond farwell, and he gave no indication of what he'll do next. My guess is go into politics or join FOX News.

I don't know what the heck I'm going to watch now from 6-7. Dobbs had his quirks and slants, but I enjoyed his commentary and more importantly, the people he had on his show (both rep and dem) were some of my most respected. Not sure why CNN would let him go either. CNN is really falling apart.

Update: Lou Dobbs to Quit CNN - Media Decoder Blog - NYTimes.com

Thank goodness! Alll of his fighting for the middle class rhetoric ... kept waiting for the solutions. And his boring voice. When I'm driving at night I like listening to loud music, but when that doesn't work, I turn on CNN to listen to the news so I can think about what they're saying. Except for when Lou Dobbs comes on -- his delivery is so soporific.

I kind of thought the innuendo was that CNN was not letting Lou speak what he sees to be the truth. Even though he spoke well of CNN, which may have been sincere, I also think he may have been being 'professional' about it. I wasn't a HUGE fan of Lou, but I thought he did a good job of what he does.

He did push a few points a little too much and when he had staff reporting on certain issues, Lou seemed to pressure them to conform to his line of thinking. But I liked some things about Lou. He was opinionated, but he seemed to apply common sense to matters and had opposing view points on his show.

Anywho, I wonder who will pick him up. He seems to have a following. But after being pretty 'prime time' I only see him taking another big show offer. That's my 1/2 cent.
