He is the only one that hasn't lied to me and the ones that came after him make him look good. So I guess we need to rename them something worse than Chum and you probably couldn't print it here.
You have to admit, what he did today was incredibly sweet and thoughtful. He's trying and he did pull a heartstring or two. I am not defending previous behavour, but I did appreciate what he did today. Being sick, he woke me up and believe me, it wasn't a pretty sight, then add the snarfling and sneezing. I am surprised he didn't run screaming in horror.
How about "platonic guy friend?" He has hung around for quite a while, so maybe put him on probation for six months or so (or at least a certain date in late April 
) and promote him to full-time status if he proves compatible.

I had a text message from Mr. Stood me up.......he said, " I'm Chum?".....yeah, we got his attention. I have a message for him......don't EVER darken my doorway with your presence EVER again. You, and your room mate (aka suedo wife, his room mate is a guy) are less than CHUM, that was a complement. Don't call me, don't text me, don't tell me you are walking to my house because I wouldn't pick you up at Pandora's...why in the hail would I do that? You don't get it, tick head little .....feet. You thought it was cool that I was nice to you, even after the "stood up", forgetting my birthday and pulling Mr. Happy out in a local restaurant....well, you have abused the privalege of me being nice. Sharks don't deserve you're callus hide. Disappear!!!!!
Remember this one????? His call last night was to clear up any misunderstandings...He really thinks he deserves another chance and it is not going to happen. As I told him last night....."You don't get it, do you?"
He did try to walk to my house, but got picked up by a cop that saw him hitch hiking with a beer in his hand. :funn: The cop talked him out of coming to my house (thank you!!!!!!!) and drove him home. He said he thought I would have called him by now.
Note for Chum: Please stop. You said that this thread is embarrassing you and your friends know about it. I didn't tell them who you are and you are not mentioned here, so how do they know?? My suggestion is to quit while you are still just chum.

so, things have been picked up again? been away for awhile, but, this sounds like despewration. a little "bug" told me recently about chum, so i had to "chum" in. again. maybe a sabaticle would be in order????????????
