I think the part that bothers me about that is this:

Media Matters? Jamison Foser asks, ?Now, maybe Fox didn?t intentionally remove the audience applause. Maybe Fox?s video used a direct feed from Obama?s microphone, and it simply didn?t pick up audience noise. But if Fox didn?t intentionally try to make Obama look silly, why did it choose a 2-minute clip ? out of a 32-minute speech ? that portrayed Obama looking silently around the room, seemingly for no reason??

1.) You're from an organization called Media Matters' yet you don't know how sound works? The audio is clearly picking up his echo. If the Mics are picking up the echo then they would also pick up the applause.

2.) The point, IMO, of editing out the applause was to make his point seem like it completely missed the mark with a room full of top military graduates.

3.) The oops defense really doesn't hold water. If that sound person really did accidentally turn off the audio for just that amount of time he should have bought a lottery ticket as the odds are astounding.

4.) News is to be reported good, bad, right, left, democrat, republican, libertarian, christian, jewish, islamic, black, white, straight, gay, but it's only supposed to be reported, not edited, mocked, slanted, taken out of context. Walter Cronkite would drop dead if he wasn't already.

I do enjoy reading your posts GEO...you seem to be a serious type person, sometimes your fact cards are a little mixed up and out of order, other times you make some sense, but then a few times you have your blinders on and can't see beyond your nose. But I do stop and always read your comments and thoughts with some of the "Others" on the forum I jump and skip over their notations. Just have no time for their nonsense.

.......as far as using little pictures...not into it..I am a word person...if you believe it say it, if you disagree with it speak out, and if you feel someone is completely out of line take them to task... that's what makes this forum so fun and so informative.

I know this is you trying to extend an olive branch. So I guess I appreciate the effort. That said, rather than ambiguously summizing that my facts are mixed up/out of order and that I wear blinders/can't see beyond my nose- why don't you point out something I have said that you believe is off base and articulate why. I personally enjoy when someone makes me realize when and why I am wrong. But I'm just not going to take your word for it.

If you won't use the sarcasm emoticon then please tell us in some other way when you are being sarcastic so we know. Like when you said that you like my criticisms of Fox and that I obviously spent a lot of time watching it to draw my conclusions. You said that you say what you mean. But I believe you said the opposite of what you meant (you were being sarcastic). But maybe you weren't. That's why I requested you use --- so we know what you mean when you don't say what you meant. Haha- that's a fun sentence...

Last time I checked, it was not liberals advocating that my pharmacist could choose to not fill my prescription, trying to outlaw abortions, and trying to legislate religion in public places.

Bob, the only thing that keeps me from telling you what you sound like, is the fear that I might be thrown off of the forums because of my foul language...which certainly doesn't become "a southern, redneck, bible toting" lady like myself..... so with guarded words, I will tell you:

that if you act like a rectum,
make sounds like a rectum

Anyone that can list that many things both pro/con about Fox has to be watching it. You also actually admit you watch FOX which some folks on this forum do but are fearful to say that they do. So when you disagree with them, that's your right, you have done your homework...you have "read the Bill" so to speak. You are a smart guy...you don't need any symbols from me to figure out what I'm saying...
