For me, it was the DIck Van Dyke show.

I was very young (maybe 5 or 6) but I knew that I loved Laura Petrie in those tight pedal pushers. (I didn't quite understand why at the time, but I definitely liked her.)

Plus the show was funny. I now have them all on DVD.

The theme song is my ringtone for when the Missus calls me from home too.

And the Beverly Hillbillies of course. Loved Donna Douglas. Thought she was the most beautiful, incredible, animal loving angel ever!!!!!!!

DANG!....I knew I missed one (or more)! If it was on, I saw it....I still don't understand how I did that and still managed to spend so much time wandering the woods, swimming, fishing, climbing trees, playing with the neighbor kids, and doing chores....

Two shows had me planted in front of my TV on Friday nights as a youngster. One was Johnny Quest at 7:30 and the Wild Wild West at 8:00.

Of course that was back before they moved primetime from 7:30 to 8:00 in 1971.

This site has all of the prime time schedules from back then: http://classic-tv.com/

Not to gross out Happy2BeMe, but I loved the Sonny & Cher show. I'm pretty sure that anticipating seeing Cher's (Bob Mackie) costumes each week were part of what led me into a career in the fashion industry.

Yesssss. Robert Conrad in the WWWest was such a hottie!

Notice that I said that I watched Sonny and Cher.....they were so bad that they were good. To be honest, I am/was probably as big a doof as Sonny was! And we had the same taste in women.....two legs.
