I love you DD and I'm going to get some tomorrow!

I went over to the college to watch a dress run of Grease this afternoon. A student that had not seen me in about a year was standing next to me when someone called my name. She did a double take and said "u look so good I didn't even know that was u." OK, I guess that's good. I didn't have on makeup either. Lol

Those moments are the best, huh? Good for you--so proud of you. I think you're gorgeous--make up or not!

My phone needs spell check lol. Ur beautiful, DD. Wish I got to see your face more often.

I think I'm going to focus more on getting my behind moving everyday a little and the rest will fall into place. It's not so much about vanity for me now at my age, I need more of a fresh start. I'm starting to think it was easier to quit smoking than to get into a regular routine of working out.:sosad:

Blind leading those who occasionally need reading glasses, but here goes:

I am a huge fan of OPI pale pink nail polish (Passion?) - makes your hands look pretty but doesn't show chips or mistakes like other colors.

Jergens makes a SPF 20 self tanning facial moisturizer that feels very light and non-oily.

I love the powder mineral make-up - very easy, but it makes a mess.

I don't think anyone looks good w/ "smoky eye" - even supermodels!

Good base, nice lip color, some mascara, and bathe daily and you're good to go!

I like Bare Essentuals, too.....try their powder - it's sheer coverage and doesn't 'cake' into our teeny fine lines - particularly in humid weather. I don't wear a lot of make up, but do the eyebrows and mascara, lip gloss with SPF - Kiel's is great! And, Burt's Bees is great, too.

Alpha Hydroxy is wonderful and I have used it for at least 20 years - get the drug store brand under $5! Oil of Olay Regenerist really does work, too and feels great! Vitamin C serum about every other day and my Esthetician is recommending a Vitamin A serum every night, which I haven't tried, yet, but her skin is like porcelain at 40!

I'd like more info on these serums you're talking about. I'd like porcelain skin, too!

I love Burt's Bees lip gloss too, but it melts like a mo-fo in FL in the summer!

I have had several aestheticians tell me not to use Oil of Olay products - they are a weird Ph or something. St. Ives scrubs are also on their "no-no lists" because they are too harsh.
