Alpha Crab, this is just for you. (note the bold portion).

"No person shall be held to answer for as capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any crminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation."

I am making the assumption that you know what this is.

Andy, didn't you just quote the fifth amendment? Didn't you just answer the question why Scott didn't go to jail? He invoked his fifth amendment rights over 70 times! in the fraud case in question. This is someone you want running this state?

How long ago was all this? I thought the whole thing was fairly recent, but from the looks of the video, this must have been a number of years ago.

Yes, it happened back in the 90s. I think '97. His creepy demeanor hasn't changed in the least.

He is now on his SECOND fraud investigation - new company, new decade, same old Rick.

The current investigation/allegations into Medicare fraud involve Solantic which Scott started in 2001.

The old record setting Medicare fraud and fines were with Columbia/HCA in the 90s.

In all fairness, it wasn't her that caused the problem, it was an aide. Although maybe she should have had her blackberry, phone, whatever, turned off. Not the brightest move for someone running for governor as far as debate details are concerned.

I heard the lady that brought how the message from her aide was the hairdresser who came out to touch her up.

What's interesting is some of the private conversations I've had with, prominent local and state, Republicans who's skin crawls at just the mention of his name.

Can't wait to see the results of the governors race. It'll be interesting just how stupid some Floridians are.

Hint: If they voted for Rick Scott.
