yes they are there warning the public. BUT, these signs can only be seen as you LEAVE the clear blue sewer quality water. Dripping wet you see No Swimming sign as you walk up stairs.
Walton County at its finest.

Our family of 5 got sick 4 years ago in Grayton Beach in June. Diarrhea and vomiting from e-coli in the water. Even if you step on the wet sand, you can be infected. Spoke to some other people in the area and same thing. No warnings. No signs. Vendors, etc. were trying to keep it hush hush. Didn't want it to affect tourism. Won't go back again.

Health department moving the BMB sign so it's visable when you enter beach area. You decide on going into the water at that time if it's posted. BMB doing second recheck today. Last recheck was normal

Not seeing any health department warnings about flesh-eating bacteria!?!?!
What am I missing? Since fecal matter is not flesh eating as the ATL weatherman states? Also, BMB was rechecked Monday results normal and another recheck was done this AM results tomorrow if you want to call

jodi, I posted that in local gov. and groups yesterday not knowing Kurt posted this under beach water quality. My post disappeared the moment I posted it.

P.S. I read about the flesh eating bacteria on Facebook but the water quality results for our beaches came from waltonoutdoors.com.

I don't think the 2 are related at all.
