Eden Gardens will once again illuminate the park for an evening that has become a local holiday tradition!

Christmas at the Wesley House: Nov. 14th, 2024 - Jan. 6th, 2025
Christmas Candlelight Open House: Dec. 7th

The Friends of Eden Gardens State Park invite the public to the Christmas Candlelight Open House throughout the park grounds on Saturday, December 7th from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. In keeping with the style of the Wesley House, this year’s theme for decorating the rooms and exterior will be a Victorian Christmas. Everyone's invited! Admission fees to the park are waived for the event. Donations to the Friends of Eden are welcome.

Over 2000 luminaries will be lit and placed along the garden paths of the park and the House will be open and the decorated trees lit for the event, giving the public the opportunity to experience the magic of Eden Gardens at nightfall. The Friends of Eden will provide live music, cookies and hot beverages.




Several organizations recently volunteered their time to decorate the rooms of the Wesley House for Christmas. The house will be decorated for a Victorian Christmas from November 14th, 2024 to January 6th, 2025 and open for tours each hour Thursday to Monday each week, from 10:00 a.m. to 3 p.m.

You will be learning the history of the house itself, which is a treasure for the park and the community, and getting a chance to enjoy the very creative ways in which each room has been decorated by an amazing group of dedicated volunteers.

Eden Gardens State Park is a treasure in South Walton, Florida. It's located bayside in Point Washington just north of Hwy 98 via County Road 395. Park Hours are from 8:00 a.m. until sunset, 365 days a year. There is ample parking. For further information call 267-8320.

Wesley House Christmas

The weather is beautiful today for a visit to Eden Gardens State Park! The Wesley house is all decorated for Christmas inside and out, you can come and take a tour of the house from 10a-3p Thursday through Monday $4 per adult and $2 per child. There are also several camellias blooming throughout the park and more to come over the cooler months! We hope to see you soon!

Eden Gardens State Park

Come enjoy the magic of Eden Gardens State Park after dark. The park pathways will be lined with luminaries, the decorated Wesley House will be open for viewing, and park entry will be free for the evening. In the Pavilion we will have live music, cookies and hot drinks for our visitors.

Additional parking will be available at Bay Elementary, and the back gate on Gilmore will be open for those who would rather walk than wait for the tram.
