What is the real reason that the beaches are open but you cannot get into the water? Is it debris or bacteria? And what is the best guess of when they will allow people back into the water. :idontno:

Just educate them. Most people are ignorant to the importance of the dunes. When I was learning to dive, everyone spoke about the saftey of the coral reefs. Every rental home, condo, hotel room, restaurant, store etc, should paticipant in some sort of save the dunes program and sign posting.
