Thanks Toots! .It surprises me that they don't realize that if they would post in a civil fashion, we might actually read their posts all the way through and grant them some credibility. The way it is - my instinct is to consider who is posting before I spend my time reading. And I like the varying views, because I learn - from those who aren't out for flaming and who I consider credible.

Well, kids, I'm off to get an MRI because my doctor basically told me, "Wow. I don't know what the hail is wrong with you! You shouldn't be in this much pain!" (He did make sure I got the MRI today instead of in a week.)

I didn't bother to look up the "rants" thread because I think this warrants a stop at Dairy Queen.

It'll be no computer for me for probably at least a day. Mr. DD's pulling the plug early in the am. If I'm up early enough, I'll check on y'all before he does the deed. I hope the carpet guys appreciate all my (our) hard work and sacrifice!

I'm in a really, really, really good mood these days and I'm not sure why. Just thought I'd share. If you need to annoy me, now is a good time.

I haven't heard about Krotch Springs yet. I was on the phone with her when she almost caused Mr. K to wreck because she saw the biggest Confederate Flag eva. Then she went through the tunnel and I lost her.

...made it out of the tunnel and into SoWal! DD is correct...it's a mofo long a$$ trip, no matter which way you go! Three hours of nonstop rain in TX slowed us down, but we made it in 11 hours and 50 minutes. Skunky guided us through the Skunky way shortcut, but I am telling you, being in LA for most of the day makes it seem like hail...especially since Mr. K would not stop at any casino for a quick slot shot!! swgb...that flag was ginormous!

We must have been the talk of the WC Inn, as I was told when we checked in that we were booked to stay for 73 nights. Wonder how much trouble and funn I can pack in that time?

He told me that the sort of injury he believed I had should have healed by now and was not increasingly painful the more I walked on it, therefore, he said that he doesn't know what's wrong with it. But then he said that he was just going to have to dig deeper and get to the bottom of it. I had an MRI that evening, but I haven't heard back. I still can't walk more than a few steps without a lot of pain. The school let me use their power chair--it's really fancy with headlights and a wooden dashboard. What am I, eighty?
