I am off to Chanel to buy something to wear to the grocery store. I have never experienced feeling important buying bananas before, but what the hail.

:lolabove: I thought the important people had the help go do their shopping.

No kidding! But even though I am no longer into fashion, I still don't want to be a poster child for "What Not To Wear"! Sometimes I'll put on something that I think is fine, and daughter will say, "You can't wear that!" It's kind of nice, though, to have a daughter to give you free fashion advice.

free fashion advice I will take....

I guess I am also in need of learning hand gestures as well because I did not know what a "shocker" was :floor::floor:

I'm a lowly Captain, and I don't have the cool (har!) army uniform--I'm in what they call KPs, which is khaki pants and a polo shirt. But I don't have to figure out what to wear every day, which is a good thing.

I am apparently WAY underdressed when grocery shopping!

On the other hand, I've seen people at the Watercolor Publix who don't even have shoes on FTLOG!

Don't give me a hard time. ;-) I'm just reporting what has been communicated to me by my sister (who lives in yo' 'hood) and what I've seen in Dallas. Not my bad. Heck, today here in Jaw-Ja I went to the grocery store in pj's.
:lolabove: I thought the important people had the help go do their shopping.
They do order from the online grocers (so says sis -- this is not available where I live), but that is still limited. Of course, in Dallas, you can get your illegal alien housekeeper do the grocery shopping for you and not have to deck out in Chanel.:bang:

I am thankful that I live in an area/school district/part of the country/alternative universe where the dressed up moms are regarded as a sort of anomaly. My yoga and YMCA clothes have become my "real" clothes, and I haven't yet figured out if I'm proud of or embarrassed by that. :idontno::D

Be proud! You go to yoga and the Y!

My wardrobe is about 20 percent Fashion Mom, 20 percent Y Bound, 10 percent I Slept In It But I Can Get Away With It In the Morning Carpool, and the rest jeans, khakis, boring shirts that normal people wear. I can bring it when necessary but am amazed by those who do it daily.

Sorry, my H thread ended up being one of them. Sorry I allowed myself to be hurt by the misquotes in my name. Sorry if I was wrong about the computer glitch. I've never seen that happen before, that's all Sorry. :idontno:Sorry that I showed so much anger for Punz and skunks and others constant bashing of my candidate. I don't care for Obama but have restrained from too harsh of criticism out of respect for them. He coulda shook her hand. I have always found it easy to edit my own posts for up to 24 hours, and then it says to contact the administrator. Just sorry I was offended at the misquotes supposedly from me about how 'disgusting' my candidate is in my own thread. It sounded like I went all wishy washy. Just, sorry... :wave:Why have I let this place affect me? I'm sorry for that. I care too much what others think I guess. I am sorry for whoever's feelings i may have hurt while trying to defend my candidate.

I'm tryin'. I thought it was done then I started getting all these type pm's earlier today. ~~~~

"... I am telling you what happened and i'm not mincing words. if you cannot accept this, then there is nothing more anyone can do.
I am only saying this once more. no one, and I repeat, NO ONE, did one thing that you have suggested. YOU were very rude. YOU were wrong. there were quotes all messed up, including some that put my name on your post as well as others (and believe me that's the last place I want to see my name). you cannot go back and edit a post after a period of time (about an hour). no one even noticed until you came online with the attack from hell. it is the very fist attack we've seen in the political forum and it was a doozy. I hope you will someday be able to understand that no one really cares who the hell you vote for, much less what quotes have your name. we do not have the time or desire to mess with people's quotes - and if we did - it is just not possible to do so. that would be unethical, and this is what you have accused us of.
your words are hurtful, untrue, and unacceptable."

I have edited many of my own posts, some many hours later. Hmmm, she thinks no one noticed and that no one cares what I think but maybe somebody might be influenced a bit. I doubt it really, but who knows for sure? I thought I might've got a message sayin' sorry for misquoting a message we know is so far from what and who you believe in so deeply. We apologize for the mistake. I still don't have to like my name on someone else's hateful words forever in history on theo political forum. Oh well, I'm getting over it.....

Then around 6pm, another of 3 pm's from the same person arrived, saying"...its unfortunate that you felt the need to blame others for your apparent lack of understanding, and general unhappiness with the way the primary went...." What? I'm fine with the primaries especially tonight in Florida, but have never complained about anyone else winning either. That was Rapunzel that was calling Hillary a 'cheater' after she won her first primary. Oh well, it is all just so silly and sad. I really would  to let it go now. Hail I even had a message left on my phone about it all today. :idontno: Maybe it would be smarter to just shut up from this point forward about it. I can certainly live with it. I'm exhausted.:sleeping: Thanks for your advice, NoHall. I think I might can let it go now that someone knows where I've been today. I should've never logged on. :idontno: I hope Hubba can forgive me for being a little distracted here the last few days. Our anniversary was yesterday.:wub: Well, later taters. I'm gonna go snuggle with my sweet Hubba.
