You are asking me?
Yeah, you are right. We need a plan B on the shirts.
I do own cutoffs- they are great for the beach 'cause the sand shakes out easily.

Do people in Australia refer to the USA as the land down under?

You CAN wear a "Heavy Duty Bra" But they do make tube tops for those of us that do not like wearing bra's........ But REALLY should!

Sorry, couldn't help myself....... :funn:

Next time you are in town, let's have a little fun in our carpool line. I'm thinking beach chairs, pajamas, coffee, and newspaper. In the afternoon.
Or tube tops and cutoffs.Skank moms.
It's hilarious to see their faces, especially the ones who are slow to catch on that it's a joke!
The local version is going to a Junior League event in old jeans, no makeup or jewelry, sneakers, and a ponytail. You can see them wigging out even w/ all the Botox.

Some of them don't joke. Ever.

That would work here too.
(I do have friends in Junior League, though, who would not care.)SoWal Expert

Today's carpool line activity will be sorting my recycling into the blue recycling trailer, while looking like an UnFashionable Mom. I will be indentifiable by my jeans, trail runners, and the oh-so-boring t-shirt. I might get a shower today, then again, might not. My hair will look the same either way- like I stuck my head under a lawnmower.

I hope you get a shower today before dinner. With little kids, it's either 5 am or whenever there is another adult around to supervise, or naptime.

I suppose I should come in here more often.
antique:
1: a relic or object of ancient times2 a: a work of art, piece of furniture, or decorative object made at an earlier period and according to various customs laws at least 100 years ago b: a manufactured product (as an automobile) from an earlier period
btw, I'm sure you realize we like seeing you in tubetops without bras. my PSA for the day.

Naptime is now. I am wasting my shower time. She is not asleep yet so I have a few minutes. But I have a deadline too! Oh the choices!
(I foresee no makeup again today.)

I don't think you should discuss antiques and tube tops in the same post.

In retrospect, I must agree, but wasn't wanting to postwhore.
So, in it's own post. We love milf's in tubtops without bras.

Oh, gosh, I used to be a victim of the "Fashion Mom" syndrome when I was an active member of the Junior League. We'd always wear trendy suits to meetings, and most of these women didn't even work outside the home, as I do. These women on a daily basis would get to the carpool line early enough to go from car to car, showing off their new outfits. I fell victim to this as well. I remember when I kept a log of what I wore every day -- one quarter I never wore the same thing twice to work (or the carpool line afterwards).
One day I visited my sister in Dallas. Her SIL dropped by and was dressed head to toe in Chanel. I asked sis if SIL had just attended a charity luncheon. Sis said, "No. Many people just dress like that in Dallas, even when they go to the grocery store. It makes them look important."
When we built the house at the beach, I started liking the more casual style of dressing. That transferred over to my style of dress at home. As I've said before, now my uniform is jeans, black turtleneck, a nice jacket, boots, and perhaps a fur in the cooler months, and shorts or linen pants, T-shirt (usually black) and flip-flops in the warmer months (except at work where I'll wear flats and a nice jacket).
I say, girls wear your pj's (you know, the knit pants/cami or tube tops/matching coverup) in the carpool line and gross out the "Fashion Moms"!

I like your new uniform BR.
Well, the fur part just would not work for me.
Honestly, it is just so much effort. I could go on and on about this. And at gatherings the conversation revolves around kids, shopping, hairstyles and gossip. I am so over it. I keep thinking it will get better if I try harder but it really doesn't.

Omygosh, you're in trouble....wait until she hits 13 or 14....No kidding! But even though I am no longer into fashion, I still don't want to be a poster child for "What Not To Wear"! Sometimes I'll put on something that I think is fine, and daughter will say, "You can't wear that!" It's kind of nice, though, to have a daughter to give you free fashion advice.

I am off to Chanel to buy something to wear to the grocery store. I have never experienced feeling important buying bananas before, but what the hail.
