I just pulled Sam's iPod out of the washing machine. I picked up her shorts and added them to the load w/out checking the pockets. :bang: It's been a heck of a week. She had cheerleading clinics and tryouts along with her dance and she has rehearsals all weekend. I can't even be mad at her because it's mostly my fault. :bang: :bang: :bang: :bang: Last summer I took it to the pool and it got a little damp and stopped working. It was still under warranty so I had it replaced. Now we're screwed. :pissed:

Doesn't she know not to leave her playa in her pockets of her dirty clothes?

BTW, there are tribes where they send the young boys off to become a man, and while he is gone, they burn all of his possessions. Washing a ipod is nothing in comparison.

 Oh that makes me feel so much better!

The thing is, she had the shorts on after school, I picked her up and she had to change into cheer clothes, she put those in a bag and then went to dance after cheer and didn't get home until 9:00 then had homework for 2 hours. It was a 15 hour day for a 13 year old. I took the shorts out of the bag to wash them and didn't check the pockets.

No violin please😀 I just need to vent!!! This is her most prized possession in the world.

Yeah....my daughter was listening to music on her computer and told me I had to hear this cool group she just found....Journey.

I laughed outloud and told her they were from my era. Loved their music then and still do.

If it weren't for Journey I don't think I would have made it through high school.

My mom never washed my 8-track player, of course she stopped washing my clothes when I turned 12, so I never had a problem like this.

I always loved Journey too.

I found an article about a nano that survived the washing machine so there's maybe a sliver of hope that it might still work. :::insert praying smilie::::
