OL, I have to say that when I went for my last haircut, my own hairdresser showed up that day with newly cut bangs herself. I didn't even recognize her at first! Sam's prettier than my hairdresser, though. :blush:

Oh man ktschris you got skills. Can you do one of me please? I'm happy with my hair, just put Angelina Jolies face under my doo and we're good to go.

Good luck on the hair decision.....I have cut my bangs twice in my life and it is not for me but she is young and beautiful.....Let her do it I say.

I always let Kailey (and Brad for that matter) do what they wanted with their hair. I always figured they had very little control over their life, but hair style was one thing I allowed them to control.
Brad had mohawks, dyed hair, buzz cuts and even highlights at one point.
Kailey dyed her hair dark brown a few years ago. My hair dresser has always "guided" her in her hair style direction thank goodness! She wanted the "black on the bottom and whilte on the top" look for a while...😱 I would have let her do it...but Dena talked her out of it!! :clap:

Her appointment is at 5:15 today at a very nice salon. We have agreed to let our stylist do what she think is best...long bangs or shorter. I'll have an "after" picture soon!!! At least Sam let me talk her out of "Great Clips"( I won't even take Dylan there) because she wanted it done yesterday!

WOW! Ktschris! That is amazing how you did that. If I post my daughter's can you do the same? She wants bangs too!

The stylist recommended the side swept bangs and Sam is very happy with them. :clap: Now the short hair that got pulled out with the flat iron totally blend in better. She told her this was more "in" for her age. It's not much different than what she had before but a fresh cut always looks so nice.

Is it me, or does she look older than when she was at the beach in those pictures you took? and it's not the bangs. Just a certain maturity has seemed to appear on her face even without the cosmetics.
My how kids grow up so fast. I noticed that with my neighbors son too the other night at a party. Looked completely different from when I last saw him 4 months ago when he came with his parents to my house and he's just graduated high school, so he may be a little late.

Mango, it all depends on the day. She was helping a young mom at vbs last week and she thought Sam was a junior in high school.:shock:
Dylan is the one that I think has changed in the last couple months. No baby face anymore. He looks like a pre-teen.:(

The cut looks very nice. With the side bangs, she can ease into full bangs if she wants without it being such a drastic change.

Side-swept bangs is what the Buckhead (Atlanta) salon recommended last week for my daughter instead of thick ones. Her hair looks grayt; so does your daughter's.

:wave: Hey Gull! I'm trying to let her grow up but it's hard. Up until now she could never have bangs due to ballet. Now she is taking a break from dance ( yes, my heart is breaking a little) and wanting to participate in more school activites. H would look gorgeous with a shaved head but like you said, you have nothing to worry about. It's probably the boys who would take more of a risk!
