4th of July plans

Watching it rain on my parade. 😀

BIG PLANS girl, BIG PLANS!;-) Grayton Beach Parade, I'll be wearing my jammies later and sipping mimosas, a nice dinner with family, then firework watching that night!

Going to my mother's house for a cookout.
Our town normally has a big fireworks display on the 4th, but for some strange reason, we had it last night. Does that seem strange to anyone besides me? :idontno:

I'm still trying to decide if I'm gonna work that day and take Friday off. It's mine and mr. dd's 10th anniversary, but I'm not getting any vibes that he's got anything special planned. Probably just dinner on Tuesday night. Speaking of which, being the loving and thoughtful wife that I am, I haven't gotten him a gift yet....y'all got any suggestions? :idontno: :idontno: :idontno:

Driving to Beach Jacket's parking garage, walking to the MARTA station, lining up by 7:30 and waiting forever (I'm in Group 8 :bang:) , running/walking the Peachtree Road Race, walking from Piedmont Park to Beach Jacket's to shower, and lunch afterwards in Atlanta with the 3 of us. Ribs at Houston's or bison burgers at Ted's?:idontno: Then back home for a few adult beverages.

If the gym is open, I will be working out so that I can stuff my face with hot dogs and bbq later on, before drinking a couple of cold beverages and watching people almost blow off their best friend's hand with fireworks.

This is some serious biziness here and a thread akin to the maters.
Festivities start tomorrow. Been planned for months. Depression will set in after watching post 4th displays and parades. The men will be sulking for weeks. Appetites gone. Sitting around reminiscing about those wonderful palm mortars and finales. The music is almost ready. The video screen getting set up. The bonfire wood is piled up.
On my way out for my 4th shopping spree at the grocery store. They need to eat prior to or they will wither away afterward.

Watching my baby son march as drum major this year in 2 parades! Dream come true for him since he was 4 years old!! He's returning tonight from drum major camp in Indiana.

We're going to a funn parade in the morning and then to a bbq ending with the big bang of fireworks!

Phead gets in on Tuesday afternoon, and is meeting us at our Malibu house! We have a dinner for 10 at Moonshadows (where Mel Gibson was leaving when he got his DUI) and then a little partaying at the house.

11AM guests begin arriving for our 4th of July party at the beach. We'll party it up and watch the fireworks shot from the Santa Monica pier in Malibu. Activities will included bocce ball, paddle ball and daring people to go into the cold water.:cool:

I am heading to Moss Point, MS to spend the holiday with my parents and my sister. Some of my crew will meet me there. 😀 GK will go home with me for next week. We are going to see The Fray on Tuesday night at HiFiBuy in Atl.

Celebrating my birthday like everyone else! 😀

We are having a Patriotic Pajama Porch Party at the house in Seagrove in the early a.m. to watch the parade go by! :wave: @ FFF and Lil' FFF, her friend, Little Beach and Little Beachboy as they go by in Lisa_at_the_beach's car (I'm still trying to get him to buy it for me, can you tell ;-) ) they will also be wearing goofy hats, as usual!

Then funn in the sunn! Then the fireworks. :clap: I love that you all do this just for my birthday!
