This thread can be the opposite of the Pet Peeve, the Political, and all the Beach Issues threads.

Did you do or see anthing or anyone this weekend that made you happy, laugh, etc.? :idontno:

This morning we kayaked with Gypsea- her company is always enjoyable and fun. We took to the marshes at the back of Western Lake into the creek/canal. It was like another world- but the best part was seeing 2 very young blue heron chicks. They were still pretty fuzzy. :wub:

...this just about made me cry. I am up to 11 weeks. 5 in the fall, 5 in the spring and one at NY's. Be careful what you ask for...I can be annoying.

BTW...let me tell you what made me happy today. I was driving about 65 mph on the Dallas North Tollway and thought my car felt funny, then I heard a pop and thought I had run over something, then my car got hard to steer...HUGE BLOWOUT on right front tire. Limped off and called in this order...my friend I was meeting for lunch, Mr. K and then the Roadside asst. I feel so lucky...well, except I probably need 4 new tires. :shock:

we enjoyed Beauty and the Beast play too! watercolor had a perfect setting for the play. we all enjoyed it as much as the kids!

Hey, that baby monkey looks like my nephew when he was born. He stil is hairy and I still call him monkeyman.

Going to the fair this afternoon and watching him touch a cow's nose and laugh hysterically. :lol:

(But then discovered the cow had nostrils and decided to see how far his finger fit up Jersey Girls nose):shock: Cool cow though, she just let him.

I had THE best BLT for breakfast this morning. Last night we stopped at a roadside market coming home from Amish Country and bought fresh tomatoes and sweet corn. Mmmm.
