i agree with you - no sympathy here. one time can be a mistake, twice or more and it's stupidity.

ya know - on a side note here, i really hate that all these various celebs are "going to rehab". the only thing they are doing in my opinion is making a mockery of rehab and the people who are genuinely helped by it.

I don't know...I had a great friend in rehab recently. He just looked at those folks and said to me that he thought it was sad for them. He was in one of the toughest programs--it had a six-week minimum, with really tough rules for visitation--and said that he doesn't think anyone could hope to recover in these revolving-door rehabs.

I think that AA has it right with their 12 steps, especially the first steps. You really have to own the fact that you have a problem, and that you're powerless to fix it on your own. The Lohans and their kind think that they can pay a service to fix it for them.

I don't think LL has an addiction problem at all. She's a partier. A heavy duty partier that likes to have fun. Who cares what everyone else thinks?

She's terribly selfish and self-centered. I'm waiting for her to become humiliated by her thoughtless acts of stupidity. I only hope she doesn't kill someone while behind the wheel.

Well, that's one reason I can't really come down on her so hard because I've almost been there and done that myself at 21. (no DUI's, arrests, or wrecks) But I've had my day of some pretty heavy partying.

that's what i was trying to say. i think the people who are genuinely ready to admit they have a problem and are ready for help are getting a bad name by these celeb rehabbers.

you've hit the nail on the head here. i think her problems are mental not addictive. she's needs treatment of another kind. maybe when she has to try living without any money reality will set in. this will surely make it hard for her to get any roles now.
