I spent all of Monday on Cumberland Island. Note that the spiders in the photos literally spanned nearly a foot in length and appear to have skulls! Imagine running into that while walking in your yard at night.

Awesome treesThe spiders are nothing really, I had my fill earlier in life. The skeery thing on that island are the Deer Ticks, and they are all over the place. One day while sitting around my tent for a couple of hours, I found 23 (yes, I still remember, even though that was years ago) Deer Ticks crawling on me. Deer Ticks are the tiny ones, about the size of a sesame seed, and you can really only notice them by feeling slight movement on your body. If you feel a hair blow in the wind, you better check to make sure it isn't a tick., skeery spiders!
