Susan Elizabeth
Laura Elizabeth

Just about everyone has Elizabeth as their middle name in my family... It was my mom's middle but she hated her first name so much she dropped it and goes by Beth now.

Elizabeth Leanne. How's that for a good ol' Southern double-double name? I've always been called Leanne, though.

I was cursed with either two firsts and a middle or one first and two middles...
George Willard Horne...
You have any idea how confusing that is to a kid to see "first name, middle initial" on test forms! :funn:

Jennifer Giere (pronounced Geer-ee)

Giere was my grandmother's maiden name (Danish)

I was never very excited about it.

Punzy says I can't disclose hers (I'll tell y'all after she leaves :floor: )

We rhyme!
I'm Leita Fay.
Mom is Leita Mae.
I have a cousin named Leita Kay.
And there are others in the family with Leita in their name.

Hey, Curtis Weatherall, you are related to my great aunt, Leita Weatherall, after whom we were named.

And one more time, I kinda like it. It's like German Surname Helper. If you have some plain ol' boring last name, like Parker, you can add that middle name and--wa-la!--suddenly be Allison Van Parker!

and what about yours mermy???

I guess I forgot to say. It's Deirdre Leone. I love the way both names aren't ordinary but I wish they weren't so often mispronounced. Merman's is Robert James Gordon (two middle names because it's English custom). Philippa (aka Fyl and Pippi ;-) ) is Philippa Anne Deirdre, and Alex is Alexander Stephen Robert, which he hears complete whenever I am ticked at him. ;-) ;-)

Dea pronounced like Dee; my grannie's name was Mittie Dean, so my mom dropped the "n" at the end to girl it up, I guess.
