Um. Wow. Aside from Jimmy Carter, who should be beaten with a pillowcase full of doornobs, you have some in there that are worse than the most bitter human being alive. So you have that going for you. Which is nice.

Thanks for posting! What an inspirational group and an interesting project. Jimmy Carter has an admirable legacy that will far outlast any of us, and most presidents. He was the last statesman our country may ever know as president, a man after his time.

OK, I know you want to get rid of me, as the warnings have ended and soon the bannings will begin, and this is probably bait, but just for laughs, name one thing that makes Carter a great president.

His legacy is his charity work that is housing thousands and saving tens of thousands of people from malaria!

Beaten w/ a pillow case full of doorknobs?!? Is that the step above "a sock full of quarters"?

Check your dosage!

I'll give him credit on the housing work as honorable, but I asked what he did as President. On malaria, again, he's making an effort, but advocating the spraying of DDT, which would piss off a ton of his supporters, would save millions instead of thousands. Still, none of this balances his actions since he was removed from office. Now, back to what I asked, name one thing that makes Carter a great President.

Jimmy Carter was the type of President you would want for a neighbor.

"Hey Jimmy can I borrow your lawn mower?"

You gotta love him!

When he was governor of Georgia, under an ounce of marijuana, in the city of Atlanta became a misdemeanor. Also, I always liked how he walked around barefoot in his Levi's, and invited The Allman Bros. Band to his mansion to entertain at parties. I certainly would never dream of hearing him speak of beating any senior citizen with a bag of doorknobs. Some of the things you say are so violent and graphic and just mean as well as insensitive and rude. Bullies suck.

I said he deserves to be beaten, not that I would do it, but I can about guarantee you’ve said worse about Bush. Speaking of parties, he had the nerve to ask a close friend of the family to use their place at Sea Island as the summer White House, even though they were big GOP backers. He offered favors in trade, but they didn’t go for it. He’s all about promoting himself. Oh, and I don't see how having state funded parties with rock stars and further criminalizing something as harmless as marijuana something that makes him a great President.

There have been four replies defending Carter, but no one has been able to state one thing that makes him a great President. Yet you are telling me to get a clue?

You strongly dislike him and his policies, and are advocating violence against him - that's enough to prove him great to me!

It's great to hear positive things about people who truly deserve to be in the news, rather than drunken celebrities or sociopathic athletes. Thanks for posting the list & links!
