So let me see if I understand your thinking. It sounds like you are saying that if you go into the water and get stung by jellyfish, just stay in the water for 30 more minutes and all will be well? :floor:

I do know know that staying in the water, you don't feel the sting, but when you come out of the water and the air hits the sting, OUCH!, but when you get shocked by an electric fence, it is difficult to want to touch the fence again.

You are kidding, right? A little jellyfish sting keeps you out of the water?

Yes, it hurts like hell when air hits it. It doesn't hurt under water. So stay in the water. The jellyfish has moved on anyway. I was in for about 7 hours yesterday and was only stung once- pretty good I think!

somewhat kidding, but think about it. If what caused the pain is still in the water with its friends which also cause pain, it is kind of silly to go back in. I've been stung only twice, and on neither occasion, did I notice the sting until I came out of the water. BURN! Back into the water!

Yes, Toots...our sister, Oprah, said va-jay-jay on national TV...it was one of the best days of my life when I heard that! ;-) Doesn't Darlene and va-jay-jay go together well?

The purple flag has been flying every single day this summer. I have to work really hard to find a jellyfish, and one sting is not a bad price to pay for swimming in that beautiful water.

Of course I might think differently if my sting had been in a certain other place.....:floor:

:floor: That's the great thing about a margarita. If a little saltwater splashes into your cup, it's just extra margarita salt.

See ya on the sandbar!!

That sounds more like a horror movie.:yikes:

I'm glad we can take poor Hop's mind off his stinging arm this way. Much more of this, and he'll wish he was eaten by a shark.

Long story but the short of it is that shows such as South Park are copyrighted. It is illegal to post copies of it onto websites such as YouTube.com. However, the peeps running and marketing the shows, know that much of their fan base loves to see the shows on youtube.com and often pass the clips along to others. Also, great clips bring in new audience members. However, going back to that copyright thing, they eventually have to request that youtube.com or other companies, pull the illegally posted video, so that they maintain the copyright.

Then, sometimes, you have people like Hillary Clinton or Oprah's lawyers demanding that the characters are based upon their clients and they threaten to file a law suit against businesses like youtube.com unless they pull the clips.

get it?
