I am rather new to this board (post Dennis) and wanted to pop in and say hello. I currently live in Dallas but I am very familiar with the BMB area. In the late 1970's our family fell in love with the area and built a vacation home there. I used to get there several times a year, but now I have to be more realistic and plan my trips!
I still remember when you had to drive to the "Jitney Jungle" at the Destin Bridge for "real" groceries. Do any of you remember before the "new 98" was built? Heck, I even remember the old "Museum of the Sea and Indian" on the old 98. Oh, I know, you're doing the mental math. Stop it!
Anyway, I just wanted to make it official and say hello. I have been watching this board for a bit now and have ALMOST figured out the some of the personalities. Thanks so much for being my lifeline to the place I love so much!
Take care,
Donna

I talked to the wine distributer there and he said it was a good one to try.. I'll let ya know! I just want to see if there is a really good Texas wine out there somewhere. This is a test. Pheasant Ridge Proprietor's Reserve Limited Release 2001. It's a mix. The winery is in Lubbock
