Is anyone else experiencing problems with their sinuses? The entire week we were on vacation I have been totally stopped up and stuffy sounding with a more on than off sinus type headache and pressure and achy in my ears. I was beginning to get that way before we left for vacation. And Wednesday evening while my husband and I were walking I got this horrible dizzy spell and did a major swaying to the right. I have kind of been a little off balance since. The entire time down I kept a more on than off sore throat, especially in the air conditioning. But you just about had to use it. Beginning to think there is fluid in my ears again. I've had this before. Was fine before that. This sucks.

All of you need to go to "For the Health of It and get a Neti pot." (I'm sure that is spelled wrong but just say it and they will know what you want) I have had so many sinus infections that I could not breath through my nose even when I was healthy. I now use it everyday just after I brush my teeth and I am allergy and sinus infection free. Try it. Its weird but it works. It is very inexpensive and has no side effects.

Is that similar to a sinus flush kit. I have heard of the Neti pot. Think it does sort of the same thing.

Well Miss Kitty, I noticed the drooling smiley but I must be kind of slow to catching onto whatever. Must be the Alavert D12 I took that has me out of it somewhat. I realized when I saw it that I had already posted something about this very thing and felt very silly. Must have missed something in that initial thread. I figured he was just pointing out that I had already started a thread on that at another time, which I kind of thought I had.

We can't live w/o our Neti pot. Even Mr. JR uses it regularly during certain seasons, and he's VERY skeptical about anything like this. If it didn't come from the dr. or the pharmacy, it's suspect! :roll: But he tried it once a few years back and he's a believer.

eyes itch badly - wanta a toothbrush to scrub them
Ask your doc about "Patanol", it is like giving your eyes a bath and takes the itch away immediately!!! ( I use it on those days my eye lids feel like sandpaper)
Be careful, though, it is a steroid eye drop, but works better than anything I have ever used!!
