Are you a tolerant person? How far should tolerance go? This is probably a deep subject!

This country (U.S.A) was founded on the priciple of tolerance.

So I tolerate gay marriage even though I am not gay and maybe
not even all that fond of marriage (my wife doesn't read this board)

I tolerate abortion because it is not my place to tell others how to
run their lives, nor is it the place of government (a traditionally
"conservative" position that the "conservatives" seem to have overlooked)

I tolerate hunting even though I have no desire to shoot at anything that
isn't shooting at me. Yes you can own guns, within reason. I own
a couple. You don't need to carry them around concealed, however.
If you want to carry a gun, strap a holster onto your hip so everyone
can see it.

I tolerate people's choice of religion until they try to force it down other's
throats. Then they royally piss me off.

Basically, I will tolerate anything you want to do unless it demonstratively affects me or others to my/their detriment. Saying that gay marriage
"threatens" my traditonal marriage falls far short of that standard.

Just because something you do offends my "priciples" is not an excuse for
me to prevent you from doing what you want to do. Evidently you have
differing priciples and are entitled to them.

Nobody died and left me in charge.

Answer your question?

T-Mobile, Ebay, any major airline,Bin Laden,Southern Baptists are on my tolerance watchlist. Oh yeah, I forgot GW, I am not feeling very tolerant toward GW. Kenneth Lay was on the list, but died. Home Depot robber baron Robert Nardelli is invited to join the list only after he ruins Chrysler.

I thought it was founded on "Screw you, King George. I'm taking my ball and going to the New World, where I can tell the Savages to take a hike."

I am leaving the brownies for Mr. K. Speaking of gallons, is it true that using premium gas ups your MPG? I have driven my car for four years and loved being able to put in reg gas...now they tell me it will run better and my MPG will increase if I use premium. :idontno:

One word, Huckabee....I think he's contracted the "I'm an angry redneck and I'ma gonna kick your rear end" virus common to these here Sunbelt latitudes.

Toyota "recommends premium", but does not require it. The computer will retard the ignition to compensate for the volatility of regular gas. You get less power and fewer MPGs. Regular also does not have as even and clean a burn as premium, so the regular gas you're buying is no bargain in that v-6 fancy grade Toyota you are driving. Buy premium at Costco, go inside and get the Ghiradelli 5 pack brownies and tweak the oil up 50 percent in the brownie mix. Muy fudgy brownitas!
