I guess timing is everything. Personally, I would sentence Vick to work for the county animal shelter for a year and then garnish 90 percent of his future wages to benefit the Humane Society. Now that solution allows for redemption for all concerned. Sitting in jail does nothing for anyone, but creates one less vacancy for a more dangerous sociopath. Make me King of America and all wrongs will be addressed. Seawalls will go down. Insurance companies will offer good weather rebates. Starbucks will be placed under price controls. Those who run stop signs and speed in school zones will be chemically castrated and forced to watch Dr. Phil. "Please" and "Thank you" practice will replace the Pledge of Allegiance for students. Last but not least, XM and Sirius will not be allowed to play ABBA.

Toyota "recommends premium", but does not require it. The computer will retard the ignition to compensate for the volatility of regular gas. You get less power and fewer MPGs. Regular also does not have as even and clean a burn as premium, so the regular gas you're buying is no bargain in that v-6 fancy grade Toyota you are driving. Buy premium at Costco, go inside and get the Ghiradelli 5 pack brownies and tweak the oil up 50 percent in the brownie mix. Muy fudgy brownitas!

Sandra Lee, Food Channel, she looks good not being able to cook. Her show is Semi-HomeMade, and involves assembly of pre-cooked processed foods, and color co-ordination from Pier One and beyond. She's my favorite big-headed, ectomorph-babe on the food channel. I bet she can't make fudgy brownies!

I don't know why anyone would question the word tolerant. To "tolerate" someone . WTF? I tolerate the neighbor's incessantly barking dog. I tolerate many things that are irritants to me.

I think the better word to explore is "inclusive." To be inclusive is so much more important. Think about this.

For me - It comes down to avoiding being prejudice, or judging something just because it is different. The world would be a much happier place if people didn't fear and judge things that they didn't like, agree with, or understand.

Like the issue of some people not wanting a gay person or couple to adopt children. Well simplify the issue. If the child(ren) are not adopted to a home that wants them, that will try to create a life as a family .. that means they most likely remain in the foster system, orphanage, etc. So simplified is a child better with a loving person or in a system that we have all heard horror stories about?

I know that there is a million other examples out there, but I feel that sometimes we get so wrapped up in what someone IS that we miss who they ARE.
