Started off just perfect :cool:

... After work both little otters had sleep overs so we headed up to the lake to enjoy "Magic Hour" <---as coined by katie blue ;-) . What a beautiful night :!: We headed north up river, shut down the boat and just drifted listening to the stero

Got a cool pic of GB

Lake was very crowded ... LOL!!

So we headed into Soddy Creek on our way to Pine Harbor where Steve's Landing Restaurant is (Best ribs in town) :cool:

No, no ribs, not even water

He's fine. I tried to get him to tell this long story about breaking his arm while attempting a triple back flip while snow boarding

. I explained how the chicks would think he was soooo cool

BUT he didn't want to lie

So he told the truth about falling off of the couch in our neighbors house

It is Chickamauga Lake on the TN River :cool:

I'm not sure "falling" is the right word......apparently he thinks he's Superman :blink:

Poor little guy caught himself with his hand, arm fully extended, and fractured his elbow & the bone above it. For a minute they were talking surgery to put pins in his elbow :shock: , but decided he just needed a cast :cool:

Gotta go to an orthopedist next week :bang:

Well, having 3 boys I've had my experience with an ortho -- The worst was when we were in Snowshoe and my son fractured his wrist. There is only 1 ortho for MILES and MILES. His office was in a little TRAILER

at the bottom of the mountain. After about 6 hours of waiting :bang:

they put him in a removable cast until we could get home and see a """REAL""" doc!! Anyway, we use Dr. Bruce at Chatta Bone & Joint on Gunbarrel. He is terrific - especially with kids.

I actually had to pay him a little visit myself a few weeks ago. Seems I was bebopping down the street on my cute little heels and FELL OFF MY SHOE!!!! :floor:

Dr. Bruce was kind enough to call it a "ballerina fracture", but he and I both know it was a KLUTZ fracture!! :floor:

Doc Bruce, too. He is friends with our former neighbor who is an orthpedist in Asheville now. And yes I called Asheville at 11:00 last night when they were talking surgery, and he said FIND DR. BRUCE !
