WTF are the VMAs?

I Linkin Park. That was so amazing. Chester just say such a cool spot on voice. He always seems to sound better live than on their albums. That is a rare thing now.

Haven't watched them in years. Not a hip hop fan and that seems to be what it all about now. I read where Brit really stunk it up.

The Video Music Awards on MTV. The whole thing is really ironic since MTV no longer plays vids. More of a fun to watch - what will go wrong - who will bomb - type of TV viewing.

I love to tune in for the performances. The actual awards are somewhat forgettable.

Alicia Keys is doing a cover of "Freedom". It's very cool.

MTV keeps saying that they aren't going to re-run this show. I don't believe it but -- there is always at least one thing that happens on the live show that gets cut out the second time around.

I know DMB, but what is MHD story tellers? Is it the VH1 story tellers run on a special Hi-def channel?

Ok. I knew Kid Rock was there - alone. (BTW I like his new single!)
Pamela Anderson announced something er other. And was getting on to Tommy Lee for excessively whistling while she was trying to read the prompter. Now Pam showed up with her magician partner (not slang for anything, she is in a magic act in Vegas).

History if you need it --- So Pam was married to Tommy years ago, and they have two kids together. They have been on and off for years. Pam also married Kid a bit ago. To which Kid and Pam have been trash talking each other since their quicky divorce.

So -- do you see were this went?

There was a commercial. We came back with Jamie Foxx on the stage talking about the fight.

I have the VMA's recording...Sam watches TRL religiously and has been waiting for this for a month! We had something going on tonight and were gone...can't wait to see Rhianna .

Overall the VMAs were just Ok. But I did enjoy and hope to find a great photo of Tommy beating up Kid.

P.S. Surprise! MTV at least partially lied. The awards are coming back on. Hmm. A second chance to wonder "Why Brit?"

She just plain was awful.....it was very hard to watch. Her hair looked like straw, she needed some clothes on, she sure can't dance anymore, UGH!!!! It was painful to watch.

TRUE SO TRUE......I havent watched since they wouldnt let my fav band play because they wanted to put up an image of "W"behind them during their song a few years back. Nothing funky about the pic, just a straight on head shot of our prez.
