VMAs - your opinion

TRUE SO TRUE......I havent watched since they wouldnt let my fav band play because they wanted to put up an image of "W"behind them during their song a few years back. Nothing funky about the pic, just a straight on head shot of our prez.

The only place I see music videos is VH1 Classic and now MHD

Even if she was hitting all her little dance moves ........

what dance moves? it looked like he was stumbling around trying to hit her marks a beat behind for the whole routine. she couldn't have hit them with a stick.

hopefully she watched it a bunch of times last night and has re-checked herself into rehab again.

The whole thing was a big yawn....and Brittany, all I can say is "Bless her heart."

So I'm watching the VMAs and wonder what everyone else is thinking?

Chris Brown was a very cool performance but he lipsynched the whole time.

I'm also not digging the "clips" of performances. I want more! I don't like teasers!

OMG, this is an understatement. WTH...I've never seen her look so unsure of herself...and the lipsyncing...dancing....it all was just PAINFUL to watch. What makes me sick is that young girls are still buying her music. I don't get it. Okay, just had to post after watching the first minute of the VMA's..back to the rest.

Glad I watched this ( ff'd through most tho) before Sam got home. The comedian that came on after Brit...nasty...Chris Brown...love the dancing!!!It's really hard to sing and dance like that at the same time but it didn't come off as looking good. I love Rhianna, she seems to be a class act. Go JT! I didn't really like the whole layout of the show, party, show, party, back to the show..clips etc..could be that I ff'd through it but I don't know..maybe it's to keep the younger crowds attention.

It looks like someone dragged her out of the dressing room, said, "One of the dancers called in sick, make something up!" pushed her on the stage without her costume, and left her for dead. Any one of her dancers would have been fired for doing what she did so badly. Yikes.

Yeah, Britney's performance was pretty bad. It seemed glaringly obvious that she wasn't even close to being ready for that performance. You could tell she didn't want to be there.

That being said, I have never seen her in better physical shape. She looks amazing (except the hair, of course) and if that's what people are calling "fat" then I don't know what's wrong with people's heads.

And I think Sarah Silverman is funny. Nasty, yes, but her show on Comedy Central cracks me up.

Hmm. Wonder who the band you mention is. I have few well placed guesses.. Pearl Jam, Greenday? Seems like they would have enough pull to not be thrown out though..

I'm very hit and miss will Sarah. Sometimes I think she is so funny.. other times I stare at the TV and wait for the punch line that never happens.

I kind of feel sorry for Brit - Brit. Here is my thing. I heard Saturday that she was doing a combo of 3 songs - and a whole smoke a mirror thing with that Cris Angel put together. What happened to that? It was like someone said, "Nope - that's not going to work." And re-worked the entire performance last minute to make her look like a toad.

On the outfit - it seems obvious that she is one of those girls that thinks skin is always sexy. She misses that sometimes that sexiest thing is the illision of skin. I want to know what the world has come to when she is labeled "fat"?! Yeah, she isn't were she was at 16, but she has had two freaking kids.

PS I'm not really a Brit fan. Never bought a CD, etc, etc. But the "fat" thing just seems like a really unhealthy idea. Maybe not as toned. Maybe not as fit. Maybe less athetic looking... but fat

As to her look, I think she did not look fat, just a bad choice of costume, something else could have been much more flattering.

DMB, absolutely love them. My daughter is a huge fan, has been all over the US to their concerts including 3 in 3 days in 3 different states. They put on an awesome concert.

I didn't think she looked fat; I think she's a nice, healthy size and would hate to see her go all scrawny. But that OUTFIT was really not flattering. Ick. She could have found something to show off her assets a little bit better (as opposed to just showing her @$$.)
