Embarrassing songs

OK, this is the flip side to dd's question: What current popular song (sorry, jdarg!) are you embarrassed to admit you like? I'll confess first--"Bubbly" by Colbie Caillat.

Uh oh, I'm out of this..I don't know any current songs.

I don't know about you, but I think it means I'm old and set in my ways.

I don't get embarrassed, so maybe it's more surprising that I look forward to Kayne's "Stronger" coming on the radio!

Barry Manilow. Air Supply. The Carpenters. Chicago. Van Halen (both kinds). Show tunes. Anne Murray. Neil Diamond. John Denver.

Must I go on?

I hate to say but more than a few of the songs listed as Make Me Puke Songs on the other thread--I like them. (so take your pick of the litter and start hurling ;-) )

Mermy, you are entitled to your opinion. We still love you.

Currently, those songs are popular with me. Yes, I have a local radio station that gives me my fix on a regular basis. Nyah.

Because I love you and I know you won't beat me up, I'll tell. Georgie sings it and I heard him be bad to the bone this summer at a concert and it was fantastic!! There. I said it. It was good music. Now go toss your cookies.

Just so you know...it's one of mr. dd's tip top faves. Maybe because he turns up the radio to full blast when it comes on has something to do with why I just don't happen to prefer it. And, I would never beat you up!

Embarassing for me or Sam...she finds it a little embarrassing that I like some of "her songs". Although she doesn't like Colbie Collait. Whatev.

"Rehab" and "Back to Black" by Amy Winehouse

"Umbrella" by Rhiannon
Insanely catchy, I just can't help myself... but it's so not my style.

PINK- "Who Knew." It's so karaoke, but I like it.
