The trip home from sowal...

Poor dd and Sunkist have once again hit a monsoon on their way back to TX. They just called from Monroe, LA...looking for oars.

I looked on the radar for them and didn't have good news. I told Sunkist it was our tears because they left.

I hope everyone else had a safe and uneventful trip home. :wave:

Poor gulls..I hope they're safe!

Mine was uneventful other than nearly breaking the sound barrier trying to get to Hotlanta for an appointment at the Apple Store. (My Mac had to stay in the hospital, too. First the cat, now the laptop, and next week the Mini...Dag, yo.)

I gotta get the little Pt. Washington house and tuck it away somewhere so I can come hide out.

i wish dd would send some of her rain my way.... on the plus side for sowal, my mom is notorious for bringing rain when she vacations, so sometime in the next 2 weeks there will probably be a gullywasher come up....

My trip was uneventful....just SAD!!!!! Kaiboo and I were about 1 hour outside of SoWal...and I said "I miss it already" .....

I am ready to come back...RIGHT THIS SECOND

I have a confession to make. I stopped at MacDonald's in Destin this morning for a little necessary breakfast, and I went inside because the drive through line was ridiculous.

So I am standing at the counter and look over at the drive through window- and there is Destindreamin and Sunkist, on their way out of town. We waved! :wave:

It was horrible. I wanted a plain ol' sausage biscuit- no square egg. Bit into the biscuit and got a bite of the square egg and almost passed out. Tried to recover with my iced tea - that was missing it's lemon. Yucko.

That McD's has some issues.

Mine was the one way up 331 at I-10. The line was a little slow, but the service was friendly and it was tasty by McDonald's gut-buster standards. :idontno:

We need to plan a "get the heck out of Dodge" breakfast next time!
