One of these days I'm going to ???

Humor me please and finish the sentence. :lolabove:

I'll start.

One of these days I'm going to actually get around to making some of the recipes I've been so faithfully clipping for a million years.

What's on your "wish list" of things you're going to do? I need to know I'm not the only one out there unfulfilled desires (I still don't know if I should go for broke and put my recipes out there in the recycling bin or hold out for a better, more gastronomic future  ).

My eyeballs aren't awake. I first read that you want to LAP dance and play banjo.

Yes, I have a banjo, but I have no talent in tap dancing or banjo playing.

Just read this. Great minds think alike!!!;-)

Get all of my photos organized and in a book or box. At this point it seems soooo overwhelming.

...I can see NoHall and me in tap lessons together. :floor: Hey...NH, when you figure out the sleep thing...please share!

You'll be the first one I call when I figure sleep out!

Kitty, NoHall, I swear, I always wanted to take tap and ballet too. When you were a kid did ya'll ever get those metal heel 'taps' that made your shoes last longer? Nice tap sound, huh? I remember once in 2nd grade, my fave teacher, Mrs. Green had to ask me to please quit tapping. Have ya'll seen 'Happy Feet' yet. Doesn't it just make you~taptap...tap,tap,tap? Me too. :D

I took CLOGGING when I was a kid. I was pretty terrible, but I thought the shoes were the coolest thing in the world! I'm a repressed drummer...

Also, do ya'll know how to surf yet? After dance class, can we learn together, okay? Nohall, I had to laugh at your '10 things' cuz I can eat me some chocolate and like frisbee too. No I'm not an ultimate player but that would be funn to learn too ;-). Someone should make a chocolate frisbee then you can get chocolate energy while playing. Maybe not too aerodynamic...

Hop is working on my surfing.

I can eat chocolate during any activity, and I've proved it over and over. Kids come to auditions for me with chocolate in hand because they know I can be bribed.

Drive cross country.

Only if you have lots and lots of time. I end up driving cross-country on the spur of the moment or on buses with a bunch of kids...

The first time I did that with my family, I threw up on my brother in the middle of the night in a hotel somewhere in the Northwest and didn't stop until we got home. (Stomach virus.)

:floor::floor::floor: The first time I read this, I thought you said LAP dancing with a banjo! Now that's creative!!!!!

I didn't catch that Kitty was tap dancing, either. I also saw "lap dance" and didn't think there was anything unusual about it, except that it would be crowded with a banjo...:idontno:

1. have a clutter free house
2. exercise
3. start playing the piano again

IBD, I have been decluttering my house now for a month. It took me a LONG time realize that all the "things" I have been holding on to for all these years were weighing me down. I am a very, very sentimental person. I felt guilty getting rid of anything that was my mother's or my grandmother's. I have come to realize that it is not their things that I need in my life, it is just the memories of them. I have kept a few little things that I have put up. I think they both know that by cleaning out my "stuff" I can be free'er. I have to tell you when I look aroung my house now, I do feel free, lighter and much happier. You can do it too. I have faith in you!!!!!

One of these days I'm going to?????

Eat healthier (again), and exercise on a daily basis. Someone please kick my arse and make me do it!!!!!!!

KDW you hit the nail on the head. It is hard when there is a memory with everything that you have, but I have to decide on what is the best memory item and go from there. I am sitting here typing with boxes everywhere... The problem with my house is that there is not ONE storage closet. I want to refuse to giving in and paying for a storage unit. Thank goodness for Real Simple, I have seen some good info in their magazine...

Clutter...:bang:. However, one small victory for me...I just recycled about 200 catalogues and found the kitchen counter and table. Mr. K leaves all of this for me, because he can't throw anything away. Next, I am contacting all these companies and asking them to stop!

IBD, I don't have alot of storage space either, but let me tell you something I did. I bought some of those plastic storage bins that are not very deep, but they hold a lot of stuff. They have wheels on them and fit perfectly under beds and you can't see them. This might be an option for you. Another thing I did when I was de-cluttering (I learned this trick from the show Clean Sweep) I got three big boxes and put them in the room I was working in. One was for trash, one for keep, and one for give away. It makes it so much easier. As soon as I filled up the give away, it went to GoodWill, so I was not tempted to go back through it. Once it was gone and out of my house I felt better. Just an idea fo you. I love Real Simple I have a subscription. They do have great ideas in that magazine. Just take it one day at a time, one room at a time, one box at a time. Good luck to you.

Mermy, sorry to hijack your thread with decluttering talk!!!
