Should I get a divorce?

Hubby just annouced that since he's changing jobs and has to use another week of PTO before he leaves, he thinks he'll just "run down to florida" for a week....WITHOUT ME!!! I have no PTO, spent it in August down there with HIS WHOLE FAMILY! Cooked, cleaned, ran everybody around since they all flew and I drove--got stranded on the beach during a mini-hurricane because "someone" was in my vehicle at a bar! We had originally planned to both come down, but I thought we had decided since I didn't have any time, he would go elsewhere..but...he musta missed that conversation. :pissed: :pissed: :pissed: :pissed: :pissed: :pissed: :pissed: :pissed: :pissed: :pissed: :pissed: :pissed:

Put him in touch with a local Realtor, to monopolize all of his time! He'll need to go home, to rest! :clap_1: :clap_1:

I'm usually the navigator too, but he's flying, so I guess I'll have to leave that up to the airline. I'm going to get a new attitude about this whole thing though. Been looking for deals to Vegas.....long weekend. Or, maybe I will go to Fla and surprise him. Maybe I'll just stay home and read and watch chick flicks all week. He said he's gonna look for property, maybe he'll buy some! That would make me most un-mad!

I think it's misspelled. Maybe it's "stroke him" or "stalk him"?
(I have to really preview my posts each time - - I misspell a lot!! And that can cause confusion on the true meaning of the intended word!)

You know, Stork him.:idontno:

I think it's an old Clarence Carter song. You know the one? Storkin'

When I start makin? love
I don?t just make love...
I be storkin?
That?s what I be doin?, huh
I be storkin?

I stork it to the east
And I stork it to the west
And I stork it to the woman that I love the best
I be storkin?

That's the exact "stork/strok" I was thinking about too! You can also stroke someone's ego too!

I WISH THAT I HAD A BARF ICON, FOR THIS ONE! :idontno:
A friendly question - just out of curiosity, why does it make you barf? I'm just repeating the advice given to me by therapist.

It's impossible to be married 35 years (as in my case) and not be forgiving of most things (except for abuse and infidelity - just couldn't tolerate that).

Do you think maybe she means "stalk" him? :idontno: Personally, I think storking him sounds like much more fun under the circumstances! ;-)

:lolabove: I agree, but if you go back and read the original post, if you were Destindreamin, wouldn't stroking him probably be the last thing you'd want to do to him? :idontno: :floor: If my hubby were heading for a week of fun and sun while I stayed home and slaved away, I might smoke him, poke him, stork him (don't know what that means for sure, but it sounds painful anyway  ), but I don't think I'd feel much like stroking him! :floor:

Well, i thank each and every one of you for your sage words of advice. i will take them all under advisement. i can't be mad tonite, he has the crud I had last week, so i acutally feel sorry for him. But, I have to say that after I got over the initial shock of his annoucement, I've had time to settle down a little, and I don't think I'll be divorcing, but you can bet that I will milk it for a while!!

Was once married to someone, that constantly needed strokin". He told me, "I want you just to worship me, you just can't live without me". Needless to say, someone that insecure's never satisfied and he proved that! When he made that comment, I laughed at him! I told him that would never happen! #1 It's not Biblical and #2 I would NEVER give anyone that kinda power, over me! I don't think that it makes for a healthy relationship! Besides, I've had 3 kids and don't need another! :clap_1:
