That's Bridal Veil Falls in the background, at the end of the Telluride's box canyon. (Colorado's highest falls) That house up there provided power to the mines and still generates power.

John R, I was wondering if you knew the guy who makes these huts. His website states that he is currently living in Telluride in one of these huts he makes. Notice how the huts blend in with nature?

Roadtrip! It IS my favorite word!

DD, I still think we should start the "Wenches Do The World" roadtrip series.

My idea is for the wenches who love to roadtrip will go to all the cities of all the other SoWallers and visit their towns. Who's in? John R....we will start with you in Telluride!

Is that an outhouse?

It would be better if you could raise the roof to see the stars! and I guess you would need that portable camo toilet that hooks to the hitch that someone else had posted to complete the package.

SJ, I do not know him, but have seen the 4runner around town.

re the wenches tour, I think the best time to head out there would be in Sept. for Telluride Blues and Brews as it is the furthers away, giving more time for transportation and housing coordination.

That is an ugly outhouse/ice fishing shanty/storage shed! No grace or charm whatsoever - you need to find a nice yurt!

Blends in with the trees.

Mission Statement:
1. Build house that will sleep 2+dog and retail for $999.00." Done.
2. Build towable version light enough to pull with a 4 cylinder car for $1,999.00." Done.
3. Build Field Huts to look more like a house than an RV using material from a lumber yard. Done.
4. Make them beautiful, like the woods and mountains we will live in...You judge.

A yurt could fit in the truck, instead of needing to be towed!

'Tis true, but if you drive downtown to the bar, you don't have to drive back to your yurt if you have one of these.

Nope, you could just erect the yurt in the bar parking lot.

Have you ever seen a yurt? I once watched a designer put one together in Canada...kinda tentlike from what I can remember...although I think it had wood floors..:idontno: I was impressed

:lolabove:

It's the quantity of shoes silly boy, and the boots and the sexy little sandals. I also have to have room for the matching purses.
