Have you ever seen a yurt? I once watched a designer put one together in Canada...kinda tentlike from what I can remember...although I think it had wood floors..:idontno: I was impressed

I'm hoping my next house or so will be a yurt. They can be made quite comfortable, and a great way to simplify and downsize, as everything you have is in the same room as you. see link above.

I am assuming your yurt would have a garage for storage.;-)

Most likely it will be built on a platform that will allow for vehicles to be parked underneath, protected from the snow. But, as you are aware, serious shedding of non-essential goods will be required.

Yes, I love yurts. I was saying it could fit in the truck in its dissassembled form as you moved from homestead to bar.

you don't need permission to tow a trailer, but you would need permission to build a yurt in a parking lot. The trailer is highly mobile, the yurt takes set up and break down.

and the doggie area of the hut can be separated from the people area, if wanted.
