Oh, I agree! I guess I'm a gambling woman in that I know it'll take a solid 12 hours to get to SoWal if we drive, whereas with flying, we can probably shave some hours off the trip. And we don't have to do the work. Those factors plus the "bonus" of the free miles.

I'm about to have to sit out Christmas with the fam for New Year's in Sowal. I may not have the vaca days.

I feel your pain sitsa! I used all my days to have my stupid appendix out! That was in June! I don't have anytime left til after the first of the year! (I did try to recover in SoWal for a week though )

Yeah. I told her if I have to I'll stay for Christmas. But nothing is really going on so hopefully I'll get the whole week.

Looks like our December SoWal trip is in jeopardy now. We were flying down with frequent flyer miles. Got online last night to book, there are no available free seats on our planned flight.

You should call them. Sometimes, online, is not so up to date with all the seats.
