My NFL boyfriend LEFT ME A MESSAGE last night at 9 saying he wasn't going to be able to come into the city tonight because:

1. He's sick
2. The MTA strike

Please. I'm over it.

Do we say screw it and cut losses since who knows what really could happen... or do we say "Oh too bad, he's sick, maybe next time?"

I'm thinking the first.

Someone wrote a book in response to that "He's just not into you" book that Oprah liked called "She wasn't that into you either" or something like that.

So, like others have said, leave options open in case he really was sincere -- but also don't think much about him either and just think about how nice it will be in SoWal seeing old friends and new friends.

And if he doesn't call back, then he better not set foot on this message board...

Hey Peapod, I was finally successful in wrangling the computer away from Cap'nC. I have created a monster! As far as him hitchhiking to see me in Ocean City, that was the RIGHT move. I don't think I ever told my parents though.

So he just called. Keep in mind...7:30 PM. Apparently he went to the doctor...said this trip had taken some unexpectehed turns and he's so sorry.
