Well I am back at A&F

Because I am so picky about where I want to work, I have temporarily rejoined my old cast of friends at Abercrombie & Fitch as an assistant manager. They know that I am going to be leaving in the summer to move off wherever I will be going to law school, so it works out quite nicely. Because you almost have to have a B.A./B.S. or be in college to work there, most everyone there is in the same situation that I am in--med, law, grad school deferments. Now if I can only get them to let me transfer to the Destin Commons store?

Yes there are 4 Concepts to A&F Inc., Abercrombie & Fitch, abercrombie (kids clothes), Hollister Co., and Ruehl 925 which debuted last year.
Oh, I didn't realize Hollister was A&F, but it makes total sense now that you say that. I wish they handed out flashlights in that store when you walk in.
I'm a loyal Gap girl, sorry, bsmart.

True.dat.

And I offered you a job as an assistant professor of computer science with an endowed position (=a major bumped up salary). JK!
I am serious. Try to give a brotha a leg up, and he doesn't take it?:idontno: What gives, bsmart?

You mean to tell me that you turned down the internship with the environmental science and engineer company that I set you up with in Destin?:bang: Tell the truth, you never called David, did you?:idontno:

Well no actually. However, after I was told that I could not live in my grandma's condo at the Seamist complex, I had to switch gears and find a job. If it is a paid position I would move tomorrow, but I would need to be compensated to at least live in Freeport or something.

I am totally confused about what I want to do with my time and now because I have gone back to my college job, my parents are pissed. I have also turned down internships and jobs with Morgan Stanley, where my dad works.

Tell you what...I will go ahead an email them tomorrow and find out when a good time to call would be.

I am very appreciative of your work and efforts SJ, and lucky to know that there is someone in SOWAL like you.

Yeah, he took that leg and put it into a pair of new Abercrombie jeans.

I have my eye on a Ruehl bag...

Supposedly those are suppose to be an alternative to a Prada or Gucci bag or something--are they expensive?

I thought so. Bsmart, they will pay you if they take you on.

Tangent again: Mr. Pod refuses to even use the proper name; since some of the on-the-street stuff in NYC says Panda, he'll only call Prada Panda! :lolabove:
Oh, another tangent--note to us, Kimmi, I need to go to Chinatown and look at knock-offs!

They are different...not really comparable to Prada or Gucci. They are super nice...but not Prada nice.

They are priced around $700 depending upon the leather. I found a leather hobo that was big...which was about $500. I was going to reach out to my PR contact and see if I could get an old sample. ;-)

I love them though. They are very my style.

So that is what NYC is doing to decline the homeless population?

That is a terrible though but the first one I had when I read that, what the heck is a hobo?

Funny.

I guess most people don't know what that is. Large bag.
