American Idol 2010

I am so with you on this one. I LOVE Ellen and am excited she will be on AI. I don't think I would've watched this year if Paula was back on and the other girl was just as annoying.

I saw Ellen on SYTYCD and she was funny! But like she said this a.m., she'll bring an unbiased opinion instead of a critique to the panel.

I like Ellen. I think she'll be a judge like me.... I can't carry a tune in a bucket, but i can hear! I think she'll be great!

I usually only tune in to Idol when it gets narrowed down quite a bit, but I'm excited enough about Ellen being on it to watch early on and see what she's like.

Not too sure yet. I'll have to watch and see. I think it will def change the dynamic. I just don't get how a non musical person can judge one's singing ability. I guess they have the others to do that. I also heard that J-Lo wanted the job...anyone else hear that?

I hadn't heard that but I'm not surprised. She hasn't had a lot going on in her life professionally of late so... it makes since that she'd want the job. Not sure how much formal training she has either. It probably came down to viewer likability.

I agree. I think Ellen is absolutely hilarious, but I don't know if that qualifies her to judge vocal talent.

I will really miss Paula. Maybe Ellen will slap around that other girl (I dislike her enough that I don't remember or want to remember her name) a little or at least intimidate her a little. I think they had to do something really out of the ordinary because so many of really liked Paula.

I love me some Casey James. He's from Fort Worth you know. Just told Sunkist about him last night. I also like the Janis Jopliny/dreadlock girl. Sorry, I didn't look at the link before replying for her name. Bowersox?

Siobhan Magnus, "Wicked Game"
Crystal Bowersox, "Hand in My Pocket"
Katie Stevens, "Feeling Good"

I just love that Crystal girl...mainly because she acts like she just really doesn't give a hoot about what all those judges think.

My prediction for final two........Siobhan Magnus and Andrew Garcia. I think Aaron Kelley and Lee DeWyze will be dark horses possibly and give the above two a run. Casey James-- cute, girls will pick him, but he is not the best. Just my 02. Still early, haven't seen the guys yet, but I am looking forward to hearing the ones I said above. May change my mind afterward. It will be fun to watch Kara croon over Casey.

Casey James reminds me exactly of Bucky Covington. And that little 16 year old boy reminds me of David Archuleta. The judges go for the same type time after time.
