American Idol 2010

Casey James reminds me exactly of Bucky Covington. And that little 16 year old boy reminds me of David Archuleta. The judges go for the same type time after time.

Yes, exactly. Although, I think the 16 yr. old has a purer voice than Archuleta. I think Siobhan will will be another kelly Clarkson, although, I am not sure she may be ready for it. She is a quirky little thing with her 80's outifits during trials. Garcia is going to be the Hispanic, not so sexy version of David Cook, I suspect.

My prediction for final two........Siobhan Magnus and Andrew Garcia. I think Aaron Kelley and Lee DeWyze will be dark horses possibly and give the above two a run. Casey James-- cute, girls will pick him, but he is not the best. Just my 02. Still early, haven't seen the guys yet, but I am looking forward to hearing the ones I said above. May change my mind afterward. It will be fun to watch Kara croon over Casey.

Yep, I was very surprised by Casey, very good....but, I liked Lee the best. Oh my, you could see the sweat and Kara flushing and gushing over Casey. She couldn't even speak without stuttering. This should be fun to watch.

I liked Lee too. He seems like a real down to earth kinda guy. I thought his song choice was good too. BTW, Kara's husband was in the audience last night It's all shtick of course, but entertaining none the less.
The boys that went home were Tyler and Joe. Girls were Janelle and Ashley.

Agreed. I didn't realize until last night that Tim had the teeny bopper support...he seemed so shocked last week when he was safe. I was too.

Hubby and I both agreed tonight that they should just give her the win and call it a day right now. I love her.

However, there is a part of me that doesn't want her to win the whole thing. I want her to be able to make her own music and not have to be part of the "American Idol Machine". If she does win, I hope that she will have a BIG say in what type of record she makes.

The men.....hmmmm. Big Mike didn't exactly bring me to tears, but he did a good job. Loved Casey, don't care what the judges said. Liked Aaron and I still can't help but like Alex, God luv him. He won't win, but he's just so darned cute.

I forgot to say that I really did like Siobhan last night too.

I missed the girls and only watched half of the guys, but man oh man am I over it. This is gonna fizzle into two more seasons and then disappear.
