When Palin’s memoir, “Going Rogue: An American Life,” hits bookstores on Nov. 17, it will face competition from OR Books’ “Going Rouge: An American Nightmare,” being released the same day.
The anti-Palin book, compiled by Richard Kim and Betsy Reed, senior editors at the left-leaning The Nation magazine, claims to offer up “the real Palin.”
Though the cover of “Going Rouge” is clearly a parody of Palin’s memoir, the book is not, the editors say, pointing to the caliber of writers included in it. Among the book’s contributors are Hanna Rosin, contributing editor at The Atlantic; historian Rick Perlstein; iconic feminist Gloria Steinem and former Secretary of Labor Robert Reich.
?€˜Going Rouge?€™ offers roguish reply to Palin book - TODAY: Book news
“Anyone who looks at the cover for more than half a second can tell that it’s not the same book,” she said. “But maybe we have too high of an opinion of Palin book buyers.”

The most amazing thing about that last election wasn't all of the grief that Palin took. She came out of nowhere, with seriously dubious credentials and had a ridiculously bad relationship with McCain's team on top of that.
The most amazing thing however, is the total lack of grief that Joe Biden took (and takes.)
The man is a serial liar. He is in the pocket of several very ugly special interest groups (like the RIAA). He had to drop out of an earlier presidential race due to a plagiarism scandal that has direct bearing on his personal ethics and standards.
On top of that he is most likely the next poster child for early onset dementia.
Where was the media when he claimed that he stays in touch with the common man by dining at Katie's on Union St in Wilmington DE every few weeks? Katie's closed in the 1980s.
Where were they when he asked a man in a wheelchair to stand up and be recognized.
Where is the media when he tells people he wouldn't let his family travel on public transportation? The list goes on and on. We've had other VPs ridiculed in the press for using an alternate (but valid) spelling of potatoe and for (daring to) criticize the morals of a TV show.
This guy is a heartbeat away from the Presidency and he is a total disaster and the media remains mum. He has no concept of the connections between cause and effect or even right and wrong and is basically for sale to the highest bidder. Who would have ever believed we'd have a VP who made Dan Quayle look like a statesman?

And you believe the Senate is not for sale? Witness Mary Landrieu (Sp?) and Ben Nelson. Our Congress is much more of a disaster than Joe Biden.
