Lynnie, I have been pretty busy since last Friday. We are trying to get the house next door painted and I am trying to get the trialer finished before this Sunday so I have been working sunup to sundown. It has been sweltering hot with the humidity and I feel like I have lost 10 pounds since Friday. The 4th was pretty quiet. We painted for 5 hours early in the day and then went to my S-I-L for a cookout. Other then that I have been up on ladders. The only saving grace is being able to cool off in the pool at the end of the day. But now even that is not so refreshing. Today the water is over 90 degrees. My wife leaves Sunday for their anual family camping trip. I will take her down to the State Park on Sunday,set everything up then come back home. I have too many things going on next week work wise so I won't go back down until next Friday afternoon and then spend the weekend. How was your weekend and where the hail is DD???????

Wow, you have been busy! And, those ladders, too! My weekend was great - relaxed, played, cooked, had martinis, cooled off in the pool, but our weather was delightfully cooler with no humidity - I know Y'all are jealous! Slept late and protected Sweet Pea and Cowboy from very loud fireworks! The cat was an absolute mess! DD was here a minute ago

Lynnie, I have been practicing my ladder moves so I can take care of DD and her entranceway. The peak on this house is 40 feet up so a mere 20 feet is nothing at DD's place.

Kish, want to bring that ladder and climb in my tree? Put you up about 30' from the deck, 45' from the ground. Time to get man types up there; just met the Forester (advanced from Arborist these days) there and I am hopeful that this magnificent tree has many, many more years left in her.

Lynnie, I can't tell you much about trees other then they make great firewood. If you had a cat stuck up there that would be a different story. As far as the ladder moves(you have heard of pole dancing) DD would be laughing so hard she would forget about the entranceway.

DD, the hardest one to learn is 1 step up and 2 steps down. That one was tough and took me a while to get right

Is there a special outfit for this? Or, is it painter's coveralls?

Lynnie, the outfit is coveralls with the bottom flat like the old nightshirts You have to be sure to wears shoes though so you don't get splinters!

Too funny! Y'all made my week certainly more bearable. It's been a mofo. Mostly work stuff. I always know I can come to this thread for some funn though!

It's all in how you carry it. (the ladder I mean) That makes or breaks everything including the chandalier. The weather finally took a break tonight. It is midnight and the temperature is only 79 Degrees. I just came in from soaking in the pool. The temperature is nice outside but it is still humid in the house. We don't have central air so we rely on ceiling fans and open windows. I have to be careful though with the open windows so the neighbors don't see me practicing with the ladder.

KISH, it's been cooler here too. Some spotty rain here and there for days has held the temps down. I talked to my sister in law last night who lives in Scottsdale. She said the temp in her car when she got in and ran the air for 5 minutes was still 127. :shock:

DD, the weather here today is very comfortable with light sprinkles. I can actually sit at my desk without dripping on my computer. The weekend looks like it is going to be comfortable also.

Notathingggggg! No kid sports or kid stuff going on tonight :shock: so we are trying to grill in the rain!! Don't get me wrong I am really enjoying this rain!!! It is so much cooler!! What are you up to tonight?

I took my wife down and set everything up, had dinner and came home. I will go back down on Friday morning for the rest of the wekend. I needed a couple of days of quiet and relaxation besides I had to work. I must say though, the trailer turned out Grayt. I had guttedthe entire thing and rebuilt the interior. I changed the layout and added a couch/bed. My wife made all new cushion covers and drapes. For a 31 year old trailer, it looks like new. Now I am free to do perfect some more ladder moves.
